I've been working on these mailboxes forever, thanks to the very poor decision to blanket-stitch all the teeny tiny windows rather than just friggin' gluing them.  I think they may have turned out a bit long, but I still am pleased with them.  The felt inside is a little loose because I didn't account for how much shorter that piece should be compared to the outer piece.  I haven't given them to the littles yet, but am envisioning leaving little love notes for them to find...

These are just wonderful. I love the idea, colors, velcro closure, personalized! and the stitching. Kids love to get mail. If you don't mind, I will make one for my granddaughter who lives far away. Thanks for the idea.

OMG!!!! These are toooo cute, what a great job.  I bought the paper ones they have on sale in Feb. for Valentine's, but yours are so much better.  I've been wanting to work with felt for some time now, everytime I go into the craft store (every other day) I go to the felt section and just look at all the different shades and prints trying to think of something to make.  I think you've hit the nail on the head and slammed it right into the wall with these beautiful creations.
