I have started to make hobby horses for my 2 year old and her friends.

I made the first one about a week befor christmass when my daughter was running around the living room with an over sized plastic candy cane between here legs.

I found the pattern at lionbrand.com

and i got the great yarn for the horses mane at the dollar store.

here is my daughter with hers on christmas eve.

and here are a few better shots on the one I made for my friends little one earlier in the month.

I added a little stuffed ball at the bottom of them to protect your floors.
