Where was this tute before I went and bought my $15 neti-pot.  Good luck to all who make this and I know you will enjoy it.  Give it a try if you suffer from allergies!

My thoughts exaclty. I looked for one a couple of years ago and just forgot about it until I got one this year 2009, for Christmas. So far, after two 'sessions' I like it just fine but after reading all these posts I'm sorry I didn't look here when I was searching (after seeing it on Oprah) Never mind. Mine is nice looking and slippery so once I've dropped it into the sink I'll make my own. Happy New Year all!

P.S. Does it help with snoring? No one mentioned that.

oh my

I have had a cold for about two weeks which has moved into my chest and throat (what I like to call the "beginning of the infection" stage or "ask doctor for antibiotics and be told I don't need them" stage, comes right before the "really infected" stage or "help me doctor it stabs like knives when I breathe and I haven't slept in days because of the coughing and the sputum is terrifying, oh, what's that you want to try some antibiotics" stage.)

Anyhow,
decided to try this
First nostril, nothing, but it is the blocked side
Second nostril, maybe I am doing it wrong but better than the fist,
Fist nostril again, icky feeling but that's about all
Second nostril again,  BAM!  Blockage removed
ugh that was the most unpleasant but satisfying experience ever
I get the feeling that would be a lot nicer if it was only I was less sick
But look at me, I can breathe through my nose again.
In
Out
In
Out
It's brilliant

If only I could flush my lungs out in a similar way that wasn't "drowning"
