Ha ha!!!   Grin  Two more zombie bunnies! These two are for a custom order I recieved yesterday. The gal ordering them wants them for her 2 teenage granddaughters for Easter! How cool is that?! So I whipped them up today and thought I'd share them with you all!
Let me know what you think! Comments/suggestions are ALWAYS welcome!!
Enjoy!

Hope you like them! I had a ton 'o' fun making them!

Cheers!

I particularly love the brain sticking out of the first bunny's skull!  Seeing the variations in the wounds is great too.  The spine coming out of the second is really cool too.  Is it a made of cotton balls for that gore effect?  What do you use for the blood spatter on their fur?

They both look great together.
You should make a stuffed brain for all of the zombie bunnies to gather around and feed upon for a picture!  That would look awesome!

Looking to de-stash cross stitch magazines, particularly Cross Stitch Gold or New Stitches?  Please drop me a line!  I'd love to swap or buy some missing from my library!

Okay I'm slightly sad because I'm a huge animal lover. But the awesomeness of these bunnies overwhelms that feeling.

Great job! Thank you for sharing!

Yes - the "this rocks" button has been pressed. I still think they are cute. But I would take them out in a second,  Angry (didn't the zombie survival guide have a animals bit? Time for a brush up!)

Those are creepy awesome. I love the blood and gore. I'm assuming you used fabric paint for the blood, or am I wrong? I do love the stitches and the spine sticking out of the second one. These are epic. :]

Yep! Fabric paint! I also have this great red velvet fabric that I used for the gore around the spine, and in other areas. That combined with the paint . . .well, you see the results! And, in case anyone is wondering, the spin is felt. I sewed a tube, lightly stuffed it, and wrapped it with thread (to try and simulate seperate vertebrae). Same concept with the brain, just more stuffing. Then I used both fabric marker and paint for the details. They were darn fun to make!
