I've finally been able to make it in steel! I started making this design in acrylic last year and I've been wanting to try it in steel or brass for a long time. I love the brushed finish; it really catches the light beautifully, though I had a hard time capturing its satin sheen in photographs. I also made this one just a little smaller than the acrylic version, by almost an inch.

Thanks to my mom for modeling it!

It is very lightweight and just so much fun to wear. What do you think?  Smiley

This was absolutely my favorite piece of yours, but I was always too scared to buy it in acrylic. I have a three year old. Need I say more? lol.

Anywho, my mom is getting me a Visa gift card for Easter (we gift every chance we can get) and I am totally getting this!!! I am sooo excited that you made this is steel. The design is just beautiful and I love the asymmetry.

Very nice.  Looks pretty shiny even in a photograph to me.

I am looking to do a personal swap with (or will outright pay for) a knitter who could make an adult sized knitted t-rex sweater for Christmas. If anyone is interested, please let me know.

Thank you all!  Smiley The piece is cut from steel and then lightly brush finished.

Stunning! These pendants you guys keep doing with the cut metal are just to die for. This, and acidtrix's cursive ones, and your "curiouser" ones are my favorites.
