Made thes for a Doctor Who and spinoffs swap. A Tardis hat and Tardis fingerless gloves:



It was my first foray into intarsia/fair isle....seemed to go pretty well all things considered.

Here's a close-up of the gloves:



Got the pattern for the hat here and cobbled together a pattern for the gloves from this post.

Thanks all. Seriously, most of the credit goes to the pattern designers. Love geek crafters!

To all saying they have to get better at knitting, you should definitely just try it! Like I said in my post, this was my first time w/ intarsia/fair isle and it wasn't too hard. Find a good tutorial online and give it a whirl. They're too fun not to at least attmept it  Tongue
