I only had a little bit of this cute fabric left and needed a first bday gift. It's reversible and was about as easy as humanly imaginable. I think I'll make a few of these for my own little artist!

I really like this. I am now inspired to make some for my niece and nephews.  These would make great birthday gift ideas.  It would sure beat the usual gifts of Barbies and toy trucks!

thanks all.
yup, made the pattern myself. Basically laid the 2 fabrics right side together and freehanded the apron shape with a pencil then cut a straight strip of each fabric for the pockets. stich corresponding  pockets on to each apron piece then stitch both aprons together (right sides together....leave top section undone) flip right side out, press stitch top, and add prefolded bias tape for ties . Its a 30 minute job!
got the bird fabric from etsy but can't remember the shop or the designer...sorry!
