Okay so this was last minute but I have finished in time to post!  My mother snatched this piece from me to turn it into an apron but I was able to get pictures before she left. (yes I will post the apron later, I just wasn't sure if she would finish it in time)

So Here goes:

I chose the China Pin-up girl for my project, but as always, I had to change a few things.

I changed her hair because I thought she needed more spilling off the plate.

Then, like all pin-ups she HAD to have fish nets (the look wobbly but they're really not)

Then I thought the China needed a modern/vintage edge so I added a couple of Urban thread-esque skulls:

And a little make up never hurt anyone, I crayon tinted the piece and I think her blush and eyeshadow came out good.

And last here's the lettering:

So there it is, I hope you like it.  I think this is one of my favorite "last-minute" projects that I have done in a long time.

Thanks!  And I hope you vote for me! Grin

Awesome! This looks really great! Love your mods.

Now I'm hoping to be able to finish mine by the deadline of tomorrow. I'm just not sure.... I have a research paper that has to be written first.

I'm sure it looks awesome on an apron too!

This is SO cute! I love what you did with it, and the little quote is perfect. Your fishnets and the hair addition are my favorite. Smiley
