I finally figured out how to connect this knit rope I'm using as weft so I get seemless joins.  This is my first rug using this technique and it looks so good without the bulges.  This is my 4th rug.  I got a little fancy with the knot work on the fringe.  The warp is 8/4 cotton carpet warp 12 ends per inch but double threaded every other dent.

I like your fancy fringes.  I'm doing something similar on a shadow-weave belt that I'm working on.
