Hi all,

Being in a chick-flick mood the other day I watched The Break-Up again (good movie). The Prada dress Jennifer Aniston wears is so cute (she can pull anything off though can't she?!) I was wondering if anyone had any ideas or suggestion on fabric and/or patterns to make a version of it. (no idea is a bad idea  Smiley

Here a couple of links with postings of the dress:

Thanks a bunch!

I agree. Ms. Aniston looks great in everything! Love this dress! I want one! That being said, it looks like a regular slip dress with extra material around the bodice and the waist. It looks like the extra material around the bodice is attached at the straps. If you can find a pattern for a slip dress and add those extra details, I think you would be all set!

However, the material choice is what separates the men from the boys here. I am not sure where you live, but I was just remarking to my mom after a trip to the local JoAnn's; the fabric choices suck here in NW Ohio. Maybe you could look for designer fabric online or maybe you live in a larger city.
