I made a bracelet for my Mom using the same technique but only one "layer."

I tried it out using a satin cord, it's more flexible, but I'm not sure I'm a fan. I like the look of the leather more, but she loves the satin.

Very nice.  Your white one is exactly like the one I made for myself except I used black thread.  Smiley

I love these -- especially with Jasper beads. I saw one online from a designer for $99.00 with some crystalline beads! I used the tutorial from Michaels.com projects to make mine, made a bracelet and matching anklet. I love them, think I will make apprx. a bigillion more. It amazes me how much people charge for them (even some on Etsy cost in the $60 range!)

I was pretty amazed by the price of these bracelets too. *But* they do take a while to make, for me anyway.

It took me maybe 1-2 hours to make a 3x wrap bracelet (maybe underestimating?) but still, that's  a lot!
