Like a daffodil, McCall's Easy Stitch N Save M5369

I bought this pattern a while back and finally decided I better use it before she outgrew it!  It turned out big for her anyway, but maybe it'll fit by this summer!  I deviated from the pattern in that the top has no raw edges.  I used grosgrain ribbon to hide the raw edges under each layer, and the side seams are all french seams.  I added some button details to give the dress more color and used some scraps from the stay fabric for a headband.

Love the design, I'm going to show my son's girlfriend, she would wear something like that and I bet it is easily adaptable for not so little girls!

I think the rock picture where she is looking away from the camera is absolutely the best! Definately one to frame!

Thanks all.  I think it would work for adults, too. 
I have a few other fabrics in mind to make some more for my girl.  Since I know she can grow into that size, I have time to make more!

sooo super cute what a doll!! I have just been able to start using yellow for my littlest daughter. My other two have their daddy's olive skin and they look kinda sickly in bright yellow. you've inspired me to bust out the yellow for summer!
