and the hat is gorgeous..blue and black..AWESOME!!

I am slacking in the photos department..but really I was super excited and the excitement got the best of me ..and umm..I blame the kids for eating the food  Wink

lol no worries smitten. But if you get around to taking pics, that'd be great. I was really working last minute on your ball so those are the only two pictures i managed to snap before sending.

I finally received my MYB from our lovely organiser 2711 today.  It was stuck in the sorting office for two days Sad  Anyway, I LOVE it.  And the patterns she sent were perfect for me - a couple of mitten patterns and a couple of slipper patterns.  I'm obsessed with mittens and slippers, so it's gonna be hard to figure out what to make.  The wool would also make great socks, but I hate knitting socks, so slippers or mittens it is.  Shame the weather's getting warm...

Anyways, onto the pics!

The beast that is the magic yarn ball

The magical, gorgeous rainbow yarn.  Perfect.  It's Peruvian Merino wool.  I've seen it in John Lewis before and it always makes me drool.

The goodies!  A bracelet making kit, a ton of beads and sequins in cute little test tubes.  Mini Sharpies (gotta love the Sharpies!), stickers, ribbon...

My absolute favourite thing - a Rapunzel scarf!  I've been wanting one for AGES and never got round to making one.  Thank you so much 2711!

A lovely knitting needle roll in my favourite colour.

And a sweet little batik bag with Rapunzel style handles and a cute lil ami turtle.

Thanks for picking me as your parnter 2711.  This has been a fantastic swap.  I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did.

Ok, here's my pictures of the package I got from imthecutest81.  I'm afraid I don't have a shot of the whole ball, since I lost a bunch of pictures to a bad SD card.

The whole bundle, mostly:

the crocheted market bag straight off my wist that didn't make it into the first picture (yes, it's already full of a WIP):

Closeup of the Star Trek coasters:

Closeup of the glass stone magnets:  If you can't see them all, there are pictures of Labyrinth, The Neverending Story, The Last Unicorn, Zelda, The Lord of the Rings, and Redwall, which are all things that I love!

the yarn the ball was wrapped in was a green and gold shade of Caron Simply Soft Shadow that I totally love.  I've never seen this stuff before and I need to find somewhere near me that sells it Cheesy

Thank you so much for a lovely package!
