Oh my goodness imafundork!! I can't believe I got so confused! I'm going to find a knitting equivalent of that and send it to you. I'm so sorry.

It was a fabulous Saturday morning when I got this!

Mr. Zeddies and I unravled/rerolled the ball of yarn (a lovely LOVELY organic grey wool. It's crazy but I've never crocheted with natural fiber before, I have some cotton but I've never used it. I'm so stoked to try it!)

A group shot, here we have the yarn, about a million buttons beads and fabric baubles, two pins, a couple really awesome vintage bottle caps, a shell shaped cookie cutter, a flower barette, a lady bug barrett, a little gun bead, a zoo of brightly colored plastic animals, a cute little turtle (which Mr. Zeddies has laid claim to), A whole bunch of stickers, A SUPER adorable earring/bracelet set (wearing it now!), Two lip glosses, two eyeliners (which by the way is probably the best eyeliner I've used EVER mark. brand? ), two candles, a crochet hook, gator-egg gum, and best of all (something I've been wanting for AGES)

A HOOK ROLL! YAY!

Thank you so much imafundork! And I'm going to find that pattern in knit for you, I'm soo so sorry again!

i received from rumpazel a few days ago - just in time for my birthday!  (the celebration lasted from thursday until last night, which is why i'm a little behind on posting the pics.  sorry, rumpazel!)

i got a kick out of the box....i was reading its thoughts which went all the way around the box.....

then i opened it to find a wonderful myb sitting in a cool little record bowl!  (how did you know i've been wanting one, rumpazel?  it's not even on my wists!  you mind reader.....)  here you can also see the scrumptious yarn she chose for me....a totally beautiful, soft, animal-friendly soy silk.  ahhh.......love........

here's the ball before i unraveled it

and here it is after:
(the non-crafteds)

there's lovely bamboo needles (my favorite type!), a funky wine glass coaster, some sharpies, a slinky, some authentic maine maple candy straight from maine maple sunday!, cruelty-free lip balm, dark chocolate, tapestry needle, and a gorgeous picture that she took near her home in maine.  she said she hopes it goes w/ my living room.  well, it could not "go" any better - i took a picture of my living room wall for reference

(nevermind the crookedness of the pics; that's due to my highly annoying neighbor who blasts music on the daily that literally vibrates my walls.  he is also the reason i'm moving soon Smiley )  but seriously, the picture from rumpazel goes SO perfectly with the rest!!!  it couldn't even match better if she had seen my living room!
oh yeah, there was also a chunky bar (gone!) and bubbles (in use!).

(the crafteds)
there are hair clips, an embellished tape measure straight off my wists, a pretty lace...necklace? (it's kind of long, not really sure what it's for?), a hand-carved stamp, and 3 day of the dead brooches with very impressive embroidery.  she even made one as a nod to my swiss boyfriend by using the red & white of the flag and milk chocolate colors.  (it's my favorite of the 3!)

closer looks:
brooches:

stamp - this was her first time!  how amazing did this come out?  i honestly would never have guessed this was her first attempt at stamp carving if she hadn't told me.

oh yeah, and the pattern is this really cool and unique hat that i've been seriously coveting for a few months now...  (sorry you gotta click the link to see)

i love everything and i had tons of fun with this swap!
thank you so much, heather!!!

No worries...I actually picked up the final issue of Craft Magazine this weekend because it was on sale and there happens to be a pattern for knit fingerless gloves! It's seems like something I can handle! I just need to pick up some DPNs and then I can get started. Smiley

I used to sell Mark makeup and their eyeliner is fabulous.  It was my favorite product they had.  Wink

I wasn't sure if you had a hook roll or not, but you said you liked ridiculous things and I just had to make you something with that green hippo fabric!  I'm glad you like it!

Want to learn to crochet or knit?  I have a ton of extra crochet hooks & circular knitting needles.  Will throw in some pattern books and yarn for anyone interested in a swap.

So I checked the DC for my MYB and it said that it's been delived to my PO box! YAY! except when I stopped by on my way to work, there was no sign of it Huh  Cry  so I have to go back tomorrow and figure out what's going on, hopefully the PO didn't figure out what a fantabulous package pertelot sent me.
