Huhwhat?

So, after I finished knitting a purse the other night, my hands still wanted to knit. So I knocked out this little phone cozy. It looks like a behive.

(There's a story behind it, kinda. But it's kinda lame.)

It's a small amount of Red Heart (because my phone is okay with acryllic) and it took about an hour to do. I wrote out a pattern and posted on my blog, if you want to know the particulars.

The embroidery was the biggest time consumer. Unfortunately, I was a little sketchy on my embroidery skills. I had some bee pins, but then I decided not to use them for fear they would scratch my phone.

When I saw the icon photo, I thought it was a wristwarmer.  That would be super cute too!  Good job.  I really like the little bees.

It's adorable!

They're not kidding when they say Red Heart has its place.  Phone cozies take a LOT of abuse!  I'd say it's the perfect yarn for this kind of project.  ^_~

This is awesome!  I knit a hat with a similar stitch pattern, I think I might stitch little bees to it.  What a great idea!

This is so cute.  My hands always want to knit something after I finish a big project, no matter how sore they are.
