***blushing***
Thanks for all the nice sentiments about the bee.  I have to say that I am much better at satin stitch now!  all the practice and all.  I did want to keep it after I was done!

Just wondering...Has anyone ever measured the amount of thread they used?  I never have.  But for this project I bought 6 skeins (all that Hobby Lobby had in 738, I almost only bought 5, glad I didn't!) and used 3 strands while stitching and used 5 complete skeins and nearly all of the 6th!  That is like 92 yards of floss!  RIDICULOUS!  Thats is almost a football field of floss!!  That is crazy isn't it!

I actually really like stitching this.  It was all the same stitch and color.  No guessing on where and how and what to do in this project...kinda Zen embroidery.

I love the owl!  Is it done on adia cloth?  I am so bad at measuring the space and levelness of stitches...I think I would like to try some blackwork after all the awesomeness here in the swap!

I am so glad that you liked it.  I LOVE everything you sent to me and use the bag everyday!

OMGosh!  What beautiful work!
Those thimbles are adorable, and I have book (future WIP).
I adore the owl.
I love the bee (I love honeybee images....probably because of my name and my love of honey).

ORGANIZER NOTE: I have updated sending statuses on the first page.  Check to make sure I have you down correctly.  And check that you have feedback, if I have you crossed out.  Further if you are late at this point or I don't have you down for a sending status, PM me with when you plan to send (a date please).  Thank you! Kiss

iheartzb sent me an awesome package! She took ideas from my wists, and everything is so obviously me!! Forgive the not-as-fantastic pictures. The camera is dying, and I was too impatient to wait for pictures.

The whole kit 'n caboodle.

The little birdie tea towels. The beads were such a cute touch!!

The thinking piece. It's in a hoop right now, but I think I'm going to make it into a throw pillow once we finish painting our living room.

Seriously, this thing is awesome!!

And gratuitous dog shots. They loved the treats they received!!

Wow - the gallery is becoming better and better every day.  Everything is amazing!  I especially love the owl and the bee.

I received a beautiful package from Slingmomma last night and will post pics as soon as I'm able to take some when the sun is shining. She's another great stitcher!

Love the "thinking" piece!  I am going to have to try to do that!  I think they are so fun and personal.  Really great stitching and obviously very inspiring!

That bee pillow is amazing.  I love the color and the backing and your satin stitch is really great!!!!
And the other goodies too, including the wrist thingy.....how wonderful!!!

And I love the thinking embrodiery too.  I need to make one for myself!

The owl is done on a looser weave than Aida cloth, but not sure what it is called....it is beautiful, and I love my new owl!!!

The directions were confusing to me at first, but in the end, turning them right-side-out was the hardest part  Cheesy

I can totally believe that! How many layers of interfacing went into those thimbles, anyways?

I totally just keep taking the birdie tree out to admire it.  Grin I love it so much!
