Inspired by the cross stitch piece by Beth Garrison (http://www.boingboing.net/2006/12/03/it-crowd-crossstitch.html), I decided to try my hand at cross stitch (first attempt!) of Moss's head for hubby's new cell phone case.

I made a pattern of the 3 primary characters (Moss, Jen, & Roy) based on the DVD case, which you can download for free here:http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3197/3154865053_85f5f99fb7_b.jpg.

No problem - glad you could get some use out of it! I actually laid it out in Excel (living graph paper!) if that works better for you to work from (I personally like doing that) I can send it to you via email.

I'm super in love with that show. The Friend Face episode nearly killed me. Smiley

I love the IT Crowd. The actor who plays Roy seems to have been popping up everywhere at the moment. Thanks for the patterns Smiley

Awesome! I figured it was only a matter of time before we saw something IT Crowd based. Thanks for the pattern too!

Awesome! I looooooovveee the IT Crowd and Moss is my favourite. My sister has started cross-stitching and I am going to request something similar from her as I am an embroidery girl. Great work!

Thanks everybody! Everyone here is so nice! This was my first ever cross stitch piece. I chose Moss because we have IT Crowd on the brain, but also because the pixelated images lend themselves so well to the medium. This piece is only about 2.5 inches tall, so it took me maybe an hour or so to make it? I sewed a felt case for hubby's new phone (he's picky about finger prints and stuff on his shiny silver phone) so that it would protect it from scratches in his pocket. I figured who better for a pocket protector than Moss? Smiley

I think my next IT Crowd stitch piece will probably be Richmond. His character slays me.

I love Moss. I love doing impressions of him. And I love that my wife gets a bit irritated by my impressions of him, especially on long car journeys...
This is a great start in the world of cross stitch and shows that you have a discerning eye. Keep it up! Cheesy
