Hi all,

Here are the pics of the beautiful package I received from Emerri:

First of all, it was all very nicely wrapped. And my cat was as curious as I was  Wink

And in the package.... a pair of fleece pants with matching little shoes, made with Japanese fabric!

And a longsleeve-onesie with a detail of the same fabric:

A too cute crocheted hat:

And (How did she know I'm planning on using cloth diapers, sure I didn't put it in the questionnaire  Shocked) my first fleece-flannel cloth diaper and a matching hat!
On the back of the diaper Emerri has stitched the profile of a cat, but forgot to take a picture of it. It's a very cute detail  Cheesy

Thank you for the lovely package, Emmeri!!

P.S. It's maybe a little off-topic, but as I don't see myself able of making cloth diapers myself, I'm planning om buying them. Do you guys have suggestions of brands that are good? And how many should I have on stock?

Hooray for cloth diapers! There are lots of different ways to do them. I tried to make them, but found them a bit complicated and time consuming. Personally, I use a diaper delivery service. I get 80 diapers a week for $60/4weeks. I never use all 80 now, but when she was a newborn I did. They have darling diaper covers now, too. I also like the diaper delivery because it's actually greener than laundering them myself. Their vans use biodiesel and their laundering and sanitizing system, while I can't explain it, wastes less water than doing them at home. Plus, if you live in an apartment with communal laundry, there may be rules against washing dirty diapers. I also don't want to do that much laundry anyway.  Cheesy  Do your research. You'll find the best system for your family. Good luck!

Wow, you sewers in the group picked such cute fabrics and patterns! I can only sew pillows and am truly impressed with anyone who can actually make something that isn't a square. Paintindiva, I'm so happy you like the hat! I was nervous since this was my first swap but I thought a cotton sunhat would be nice for a fair little sweetie like yours. I'm planning on embellishing lots of socks because my son has two little girl cousins and it is my only opportunity to work with ruffles.  Grin

I thought I would put a link to the nappy pattern I used - I love this free pattern

http://www.thenappynetwork.org.nz/images/Wee%20Weka%20SML%20Fitted%20SM%20Pocket.pdf

and this web site, which the pattern came form has heaps of nappy patterns

Hope that works Smiley
