This is from my first term of beginning ceramics. I just finished my second term but I only just got good photos of this! The assignment was fairly open -- create a slab-built mask.

Hand-built, iron stain, fired to cone 10.

That's amazing~! *w* And sooo beautiful. <333 Love all the detail you put into the fur! I bet that took ages. The color you chose for it is great too. <3 Man, I wish there was somewhere around where I live that tought classes like that. All we have is a small ceramics shop where you paint all the precast things... T__T

Wow! I totally didn't think it was ceramics, but the fact that it is makes it 10x more cool! I'm really curious to see how it would look on a person, but it's beautiful enough just to display on its own.

Ohhh, thank you everyone. :>

It did take ages. I'm totally the slowest person in my class. Heh. Everyone else does a dozen projects, I end up with one or two.  And horrible carpal tunnel syndrome. *lol*

Yeah, we have those things around here too. Luckily there are several schools that offer ceramics as part of their art programs, and also a large ceramics supply store that offers classes. I'm totally addicted!

Yay! I love foxes!

I think it would be very heavy to actually wear, though possible. I am thinking I'll put it on a stand, though right now it's on a shelf just leaning against the wall.

Wow. This is amazingly fabricated. I have yet to venture into the ceramics department at my school, but you've revived the itch to. Kudos!

The oxide gives it a very fairytale look to it. I hate to be so repetitive but your detail is phenominal
