I finally joined craftster and wanted to share a recent linocut I did. I don't have any pictures of my progress, but I plan out my design using rulers, a compass, a pencil and some fundamentals of sacred geometry and plain ole ordinary geometry. Once I have my design I use transfer paper to get it onto the linoblock.

Since I'm still a newbie, I can't post pictures... so please check out my links.

Here is a pic of the block all carved up.

Here is a pic of a print!

C&C welcome!

Hey,
Welcome to craftster!

Posting pictures is just a matter of putting the URLs you listed between the "square-bracket img square-bracket" and "square-bracket \img square-bracket". The easiest way to do this is to push the little button above, which looks like a painting, and then cut and paste the URL between the two bits in square brackets. Like so:

Also, you can use the PhotoBucket Upload Widget.

Anyway, great design! Love the nice fine lines and graphic effects of all those arcs. Also- nice colour choices!

thanks for the feedback and the helpful tip for posting!

I checked out your wists and I have the Goji dress! But, mine is grey on grey instead of that nice burgundy. They didn't have that in my size Smiley It's soooo cute!

Clearly you have impeccable taste and an eye for design. Wink

Also, I would be curious to see your linocut as a repeated pattern.
Cheers,
