One of my local BBQ places is even called The Shack (they are the ones with the best chopped beef sandwiches - the turkey also rocks). Then there is Duke's (best ribs and chopped baked potatoes with links mmmmmmmm) The Station, The Rib Cage, Lambert's, and more.  Donut wise I have no Dunkin' Donuts, no Krispy Kreme no chains donut chains of any kind (there is a Shipley's about 25 minutes away - fyi in texas we measure distance in time not miles) but the local and aptly named Hometown Donuts is pretty good but I go for a non sweet pastry usually (ham and cheese kolache mmmmmm!)

On the crafting front all looks well several things finished, I should be able to work on the large starting (and hopefully finishing) Sunday (saturday holds cohosting a baby shower and a brother in laws birthday dinner.)

I have eliminated quite a few people but there are a LOT left.  I had my top three but have since crossed off two of them so time to regroup there.

i dont drink tea or coffee. But boyfriend does.
Im more of a pepsi drinker. actually its pretty much the only thing i drink.

i like donuts. i eat a local brand Tom's donuts. and the hostess chocolate and powdered.

I have not tried to figure out who my partner is. I want it to be a surprise. although a few clues sound close.

Sadly I havent been able to make anything else for the swap. at least not until i get supplies then Ill have 1 day to finish everything up. AAHH

But i do have plenty of extras. I plan to send out on the 1st, which is also payday.

When I was pregnant with Collin I was loving Dunkin Donuts - they call them square donuts - the ones without the hole that they fill - but the fillings are usually too sweet for me (except for the apple pie one) but when I was pregnant sweets were the last thing I wanted.  I used to ask for a square donut with no filling but with powdered sugar on it. They thought I was nuts but fortunately the locations I used to go to always seemed to have a batch nearly ready to be done so they were able to grab one from the back before they squirted stuff on the inside....

I'll have to ask for one of those when I make my trip up north...!
I wonder if DD has a travel planner - where you can follow the dunkin donuts as you drive lol.
I used to be like that with Sonic before we moved here.  I loved Sonic so much for fast food and I had it marked on our trip directions where all the Sonics were - that was when we used to drive back and forth to Alabama once or twice a year to visit David's family....

Okay.  Got to get the kids ready for school and out the door then me out to the driveway to try and finish moving that mulch pile. It is suppose to be almost 90 here today by noon.  It's going to be a hot one!  I might let the kids play in the sprinkler this afternoon if I can find their water shoes - hubby won't let them run barefoot in the grass and the grass here feels more like straw so they don't want to anyway.
