I made this for my nieces daughters first christmas. Carl Larsson is a swedish painter who painted idyllic pics in the beginning of the 20th century. He painted his wife and daughters and all the girls has this kind of dresses with bloomers and aprons.

I think it's cute. What do you think?

I used to wear stuff like this when I was a baby Cheesy (complete with frilly bonnets and everything)

You should definitely post a pic of her wearing it - I'm sure she looks adorable!

I'm not sure there are any pics of her wearing it, but I'll check with her mom.

There was actually a bonnet too. Made in silk imported from China.

The label says "Tiny monster".

That's beautiful. Babies are always really cute no matter what you put them in, but I think there's always something special about dressing them like an infant instead of some of the "older" looking styles. I really like that color of red, it really stands out against the white. Also, wow that bonnet is amazing.

Stop being so damned positive. Staring at the sun only blinds some one. By only looking at the positive, you miss an entire beautiful world of shadows and colors. Don't be overly negative, be realistic. The world is so much more complex and beautiful that way.

I found the tute for the bonnet here on craftster: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=193082.0
It was really easy to make, sadly the pics are now gone from the post Sad

As I said, easy to make and it looked great.
