I found two more blankets among my pics.
This one I made for one of my nieces. It's made from acrylic yarn and approxiametely 150X180 cm. 156 squares. This one took years to finish, mostly because I hate working in syntethic yarns.

This is the one that really got me started. It's made for my other nieces baby daughter and is about 120x100 cm. 168 squares. All wool. Smiley

Hope you like them.

I like the second one, I think it shows how much you liked making it, there is harmony in it.

I like that one too. It's cheery Smiley I love bright colours for babies. My favorite colour is turqoise because it brightens anything up. I don't EVER wear anything turqoise though. I'm happy being miserable in black Cheesy

I LOVE them both! The 2nd one is just stunning! I know what you mean about acrylic, but I also hate washing 100% wool ones. I tend to stick with an acrylic/wool blend & lately using some Superwash.

I mostly use superwash too. I fell in love with a new yarn lately it's Rowans cottonwool blend. It's so soft and absolutely lovely. Unfortunately it's not suitable for blankets because it's too soft.
