They look surprisingly real.  I will join in the guinea pig nostalgia and say that mine was named Caramelo.  He was paper-trained and could stand up and beg (though not for long, before he'd fall over).

Arent they smart indeed!  I use to have one back in  highschool, a brown one named Teddy.  I taught him to kiss people on the nose.  I would hold him close to my face and say "Kiss Teddy", and hed give a little guinea pig kiss.   Grin  Though most was afraid he was going to bit their nose instead.  ha ha, but he was a very gentle & happy piggie.

Want to learn to crochet or knit?  I have a ton of extra crochet hooks & circular knitting needles.  Will throw in some pattern books and yarn for anyone interested in a swap.

OMG Peegs! I've always loved the long-haired ones. They look like little toupes with feet!

I just took a regular ol' hair brush and brushed the regular ol' yarn.  And brushed and brushed and brushed.   Grin
