Fabulous motifs! And thanks for posting the pattern link to the sun motif, Wyked! It looks great in that variegated yarn!

Once I saw the motif I knew I had to do it, and then I looked at my yarn and was like...OMG that would be perfect for the center! Of course, I had to use a darker blue for the "sky" to keep up with the theme but I had a lot of fun making that one.  As well as all the others, I learned a lot of neat things just doing motifs, who knew?

I received from Zatanna!!!  I just love these motifs and need to get the brand of yarn and colors from her because I am definitely making something beautiful out of these!!!

The Flowers, just beautiful:

And the Circles and Squares:

My favorites are the White, Yellow, and orange Square, and the variegated circle!

Thank you Zatanna, awesome job Wink

Here are my awesome-tacular motifs from our organizer craftADDchick! And she is organized! She got each one labelled and sent along a cheat sheet to the pattern name and location!

I love the snail/shell one and the boa one, and the half-circle one and...ok, I love them all!! Thanks so much craftADDchick, and thanks for organizing!

You are right zuliblu, zatanna's colors are great!

And that is why craftADDchick is our organizer extraordinaire - she is so organized! I love #3 and #6.

Wouldn't it be great if we could somehow put ALL the motifs together into one awesome thing and EACH get a copy?!

I really love 4, 6, and 7 and what a great idea to do that.

I also received my fabulous motifs from zatanna, but I am hoping she can post the pictures as it will be a day or two yet before I can do so myself.

If there is another Motif swap I think it would be a good idea to include the name and pattern like craftADDchick did, I know I'd like to make a bunch more of the motifs I recieved!!

Great idea! I thought about it, but I was too lazy!
And like I think I mentioned before, some of mine start out following a pattern and morph into something totally different that I couldn't duplicate if I tried!  Cheesy

Aw, shucks! You're makin' me blush Wink

What kind of awesome thing did you have in mind?

And, MareMare, I'm glad you like your motifs! When your questionnaire listed your love of bright colors, you challenged me, mightily Wink  Fortunately, I have some donated-to-school-for-my-crochet-club stash yarn that is currently residing in my living room and it had some great colors that I could use to supplement my personal, and less vibrant stash Wink

Also, MareMare, good call on the Crochet Encyclopedia- there are a couple of new patterns and motifs, and some good general info, but I'm glad I didn't pay full price!

Hi all,

Sorry I didn't get the pix up of what I made for Myklia until today, but I have literally been gone the last 3 days except for sleeping (woo Saturday WOO!).

Not the best pic in all of eternity as I was taking it quick in process of measuring, but you can get the drift! I tried to make a variety of kinds/colors for her curtain she was going to do, and she was open to some other yarns than acrylic, so I went for it! I am glad you liked it. I am really new to crochet so I am not 100% skillful...but I did learn a lot during this swap.

As for Zuliblu's motifs, I did them all with Lily Sugar 'n Cream 100% cotton yarn. She was wanting to make a dress, so I asked if she would want cotton instead and she oked it, so I went and got it! I am glad the colors were ok, because I was a small bit worried they were too light, but the darker ones they had were a little to veering to neon which was a no-no!

zatanna, thanks for posting pics of what you made for myklia! They look great- I wouldn't have known you are new to crochet. Your round ones came out very round (mine always look a bit hexagonal, no matter what I do Tongue ). I think my favorite is the red one with the variegated center. It looks like it has a lot of texture!
