So Let's Knit magazine had free yarn and a cute baby bootie pattern. A girl at work has just had a baby girl. I couldn't resist...



If you look closely you can see the second one is bigger than the first; I used metal DPNs for the first and bamboo straights for the second. So weird that it made such a difference - guess I must be more relaxed on straights! They were dead easy to make and there was some debate in the office about whether they could be knit in adult size. I'm really not sure I'm up to that one just yet...!

oh,I just read your title..too funny..I agree though..I dont have ANY babies in my life yet booties are EVERYWHERE..
