I think Mario gets far too much adoration. Even though he's always saving Princess Peach, I picture him as being the chauvinistic, slightly misogynistic one of the duo; whereas Luigi is the introverted, slightly awkward one with a heart of gold that pines over his best friend's girl, knowing full well she is an unattainable angel... or maybe that's just my imagination acting up again.

lol if given the choice between mario and luigi when I play the mario parties, I usually always go for luigi (but so does my cousin, which makes it difficult sometimes)

Yes, Luigi always gets the short end of the stick. Have you played Mario&Luigi Superstar Saga for GBA? They really make him out be... well... he doesn't get the best presentation in that one...

I love the expression on his face, like he's almost sorry to have been chosen as a model instead of Mario! And the shroom is cute too, even if it's not finished yet! (Is it? I'm not Mario-savvy so I don't know how they're supposed to look like)

Sweet! Luigi is my favorite character from the series, so I always get a little excited whenever I see something about him. I always imagined Luigi was how you described, people give Mario soo much attention, Luigi is cool too!

Oh, lets not forget though, Luigi was the star of "luigis mansion' on the game cube.  Which I happen to love that game.  But, we wont mention 'mario is missing' for the nes which also had luigi as the star.  But that doesnt really count as it was more of a histy learning game. 

Anyways, your luigi turned of super.  And excellent job!

I'll have to teach myself how to read a pattern first before I can write one, haha. I taught myself to crochet amigurumi using a youtube video, and I just kind of learned how to make shapes through trial by error. I'll try to get on that though.

Very nice Luigi!  I especially like his green eyes.

I always ask my husband "how much do you love me?" and the best answer he's ever given me is "as much as Luigi loves Mario" because, you're right,  Luigi is definitely the better guy!  He loves his bro so much that he'd do anything for him.  Good guy.  Great crochet tribute!
