Hope I got the terminology right - technically speaking, both US and UK version are pretty much Greek to me Grin

I did it!

I totally screwed the first one up.  Not quite sure what I did - I think I must have missed a "gap" - but I ended up with only four petals and the whole thing looking wonky:

But this is my second one:

(Pardon the weird colors.  The store was out of solid pink cotton, so I got these to try, and...I don't like them.)  Considering that I am a beginner crocheter, I think your tutorial is very well written!  Thank you!!

These are so addictive.  I made about a half dozen during a meeting at work last week. (don't worry, I was calling in so they couldn't see what I was doing as they were droning on.  lol)  I've got about 2 dozen done.

And a six sided one made into a headband.

I've got another strand of abut 6 blue ones that I'm making into a belt, attaching as I go, but my "helper" ran off with that one.

Ah, great pics! I know, very addictive, I have them all over my craft space in all colors now Grin If you find the belt again, I'd like to see that one too! Joining as you go seems to be the best option, I've tried joining some later and didn't like the result (and the time it took).
