i spent the past weekend in a jewelry making binge. it was highly satisfying! here are some of the fruits of my labor

yellow lucite flowers topped with brass bead caps, clear glass beads, and more brass bead caps, the stamens are purple beads

pearls adorned with brass bead caps, brass filigree beads, and unique black and gold heart beads

teardrop pearls nestled in brass bead caps, brass filigree connectors, and square black beads

hello kitty ninja throwing her ninja stars, yellow buttons, and yellow lucite flowers

a necklace made with a vintage black japonese star flower cabochon attached to a brass filigree setting, a brass filigree connector, and pearls, all on a brass chain

a necklace made with a cream colored flower cabochon attached to a round brass filigree setting, a brass swallow, and silver beads, some of which are adorned with brass bead caps, all on a brass chain

Nice - each piece is so unique!  (You have some awesome supplies to play around with, don't you?!)  I love the yellow trumpet flowers with the bead stamens - I like the mix of the "modern" colors with the "vintage" filigree.

Got this piece of shrinky dink ... had it for 25 years now.  It's moved to five states and one European country ... and I just know, someday ... SOMEDAY ... I WILL use it!

I love all of your vintage pieces! I especially love where you use special beadcaps in a piece to make it pop. Great job!

thanks for the comments! i love vintage-looking jewelry, that's why i use a lot of brass and bronze in my jewelry. i know, i do have a whole lot of jewelry supplies to play with, lol. i buy them from etsy, it's my guilty pleasure, like other people like going to the movies or buying clothes-well i buy brass filigrees and beads and earrings hooks and so on.
