So another surface design project! we had to illustrate how we would change the world, what the issue was and how we would solve it. I chose a pay it forward kind of thing, do three really nice things for three people, and instead of them doing something nice to you in return, they do three nice things for three OTHER people, spreading joy and happiness around the world! i represented it with light bulbs and electrical sockets, my silhouette jumping in joy and lighting up three bulbs which in turn are making their way to lighting up three more, yayyyyy

anyways on to the pics!

First material: plexiglass, this is the original design, but some got scrapped off, our acrylic inks dont stay permanently on the plexiglass

i dont know if you can see it in this picture, but the blue is printed on the back of the glass while the yellow and black layers on top

you can see the shadow from the black on the blue to get a better idea here, it looks really awesome in person, pics do no justice

material two: a sweatshirt! i changed the layout a bit to wrap around the sweatshirt

i had been in the screen printing lab for 8 hours strait working on this, so near the end i got a bit exhausted and made some pretty dumb screw ups and got blots on the sweatshirt, oops Sad

holy crap, that is gorgeous! (both the idea and the execution) I've always loved random acts of kindness, this is just a great way to express it ^^
