So mah hubby found these sketch books at our local Ollies. This one got into a fight over their hvac and dropped their lease so they are moving and so everything that was on sale is /really/ onsale....Yippie...
..
Before Book:

I just didn't like it...no sir...I don't like it. So then, same day, same store. I got some hair dye. Purple Haze even. Mmmmmrow black/purple hair...BUT the freaking bottle esssssploded...
Explosive Hair Dye:

Good thing Hubby hasn't painted that wall yet!
Wall Of Hair Dye ....Damn:

Yah so maybe it was the fumes or something but I was so upset after brushing the hair dye into my hair. There was so much left. So I tore off that horrid picture and used the rest of the dye to start something arty on the cover of mah new book.
Glitter is Nom:

But that was not enough...Never Enough:

And I wanted to paint the earth and damn how much rum did we drink? I took a turn and hubby took a turn and how the flip did that fabric get there?
The End? The Beginning?

So then I decided it is not sketching I want to try but painting. There was something about how the fabric of the cover felt under the brush. Scary good. So I spent the last week obsessing over Van Gogh's Starry Night...
So what goes inside? Well HANDS of course...

I may not be a painter yet, but I will be. I am not sure the fate of the book but it was fun and meant something to me....hair dye can work......lesson learned.
Thanks for looking at the very first leg of this new journey for me....
Much Love,
Bad Kitty
