Oh my have I missed this place....I'm in nursing school and have been having a serious crafting withdrawl...thank god for spring break....well I had this old ugly coffee table and two aweful side tables...they were absolutely no fun and with all the stress in my life I need fun...so at 1 in the morning I had a revelation and these are the outcomes. I at one time I had before pictures but they have been lost when my digtal camera lost the battle to my dog...its a sad time...so I was forced to take some pics with my phone...that explains the crappyness of the pictures. But please let me know what you think...all comments welcome... good and bad........

Coffee Table

*The outside edges of the coffee table I upholstered..kinda, my uphostering consists of stapleing some batting and then covering it with fabric so Im not really sure that it counts.  I wish I had a better pic of the fabric its some stuff I got at a local shop and I LOVE it...

Thanks a bunch for looking....Now back to reading my pharm book...yay, I'm super excited....  Shocked

Very nice.  I dont even remember nursing school.  I think I have blocked that trauma from my memory, lol.  Good luck to you.  There is an end to it.

Great job! Did you free hand the paint job or is that decoupage?
I'm a year out from nursing school and I promise, it's all worth it!  It will be over before your know it and you'll wish you had the days back when you had time to look up a drug or spend more than 5 minutes with your patient, lol.

It's free hand...I found the fabric around the top first then free handed the pattern on the base of the coffee table and the side tables.
I tried decoupaging once....it was a crafting disaster...there was glue and paper everywhere...

Yeah I think I'm starting to see the light at the end of the nursing school tunnel....

I also posted some better pics of the bottom of the table, the glare from my camera kinda takes away from the colors though...
