Since my fiance and I are moving to Tucson on May 21st and staying with her dad until we get our own apartment, I was hoping someone might know where I could take my laptop and get my email and send resume's and such.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I hope to be moved into an apartment within 2 weeks but will have to get online sooner to try landing some interviews.

Thanks!!

Try the Intergrated Learning Center (ILC) at the University of Arizona. I'm sure they would have that going on at Eller (business college, northeast corner of Speedway and Park Ave), and the Gould Simpson Building (north east corner of Park and 5th st/ave.. i can't remember which one). The problem is I'm not sure if you need to have VPN or something like that and be a student at the U of A. The libraries in town allows free internet access, you could save your resums on a disk and probably use them there. Thinking about that now, I think anyone can use the computers in the ILC too. In fact, if you bring your cat-5, you can plug your laptop in connections all around that building for internet access, students do that all the time. Good luck.

Luck with the move!
You can also check the Free Wi-Fi Directory...the Tucson section lists a fair number of businesses that have free Wi-Fi
