I have my Great Grandmother's and Grandmother's stamp collection that was passed on to me. There's a lot of stamps from Hungary in there too (My Grandfather's family was from there, so whenever they sent mail we saved the stamps!) I wouldn't mind using them, since most of them are well used, but I think I would have to scan what was in the books. I couldn't bare to part with them all LOL. But that would be cool to make collage sheets, then I could share the stampy goodness!!! Smiley

That is so cute! You have got to feel honored to be listed before wrestling!  Cheesy

Digital misfit, I think you should give it a go here. I like the house you sent your partners. As for stash, check out some of the fun items people used in the other two galleries: gingerquilts used nails and other hardware, phizzy used some old tape measures, you can use ribbons or thin wire, old tickets, fortunes from Chinese fortune cookies, pages from old books, old stamps (sounds like you've got lots of those!). Some of the best goodies for making the pages chunky aren't really intended to be art supplies at all.  Cheesy

digital misfit you should totally join!

I get a few things from the dollar store and a few things from crafty places but most of my stash is stuff I just find while walking around. Newspapers and old books that no one wants. Buttons.

Come on! Join in!

I have a random question for those of you who use book pages in your houses...does it matter to you what the pages say or will you use anything?

With the dictionary pages I used for the last round, I didn't care what the ones I used on the front said, because they were all torn up and placed randomly, but I did choose the back pages so there was a specific word on them that I could highlight.

I would try to use a page that somehow related to the house if at all possible. I think that's really neat when people do that.

For the background I'll use anything... it's just background really. I will cut out specific words to add though. I got lucky last time and found quite a few house related words and phrases to stick on.

I have a couple of old architecture books that would be perfect for use with making chunky houses Cheesy

Can't wait to get started!  Thanks for organizing this rackycoo Smiley

I was out thrifting this weekend and looked for some books to use, but none of them struck me as something I thought would work, because I think the text should be house related in some way.

Thanks!
