I designed and drafted the skirt myself and used a Simplicity pattern in matte jersey for the top.  I really like how it turned out!

Jenthezero, it's really easy to adapt a gore skirt pattern to add godets.  If you have the latest issue of Threads, it's in there.  But basically you just mark where you want the godets to start and measure out how wide you want them, so you'll end up with an isosceles triangle with a slightly curved bottom.  Just add in a few extra steps to sew the godets in between each gore and you're done!  I had a skirt sloper that already fit me perfectly, so I drafted out a 6-gore skirt myself and added in the godets.  For my skirt, I make the gore skirt part as if it was a straight skirt.  All the flare in it comes from the godets.
