Call for Product Review Suggestions!

Are there unique tools, glues, paints and gadgets you'd like to see reviews of here on Craftster? Let us know!

When we hear enough demand for any one idea, we'll do what we can to get our hands on that product and review it (with lots of pics and information!) here on Craftster.

Reviewers will be chosen from a pool of people including Craftster's Mod Squad and Friends of Craftster. We'll send out a PM to these two groups whenever we have a product to review and then choose randomly from those interested in being a reviewer.

Suggest products here in this thread. If possible, please include a URL to the manufacturers website so that others can easily click and see what you're talking about. And feel free to just reiterate your interest in something that's already been suggested.

P.S. Don't feel like you need to read the whole thread to see if something has already been suggested. Just suggest away!

Hi Leah! So glad you posted this, and are asking for suggestions. Just so happens there is a product I've been curious about. The company, Streuter Technologies, actually have a whole line of products.

The one I was curious about in particular:

Quote
NO Days Mosaic Adhesive is a superior bonding product when bonding your glass or tile pieces to your mounting surface.   NO Days Mosaic Adhesive is a thin film of mosaic glue that allows you to place your glass or tile pieces on top of the NO Days film to create your pattern.  The simply cure your entire or section of mosaic all at once with a standard heat gun.

Some of the other items they have:

Quote
GlueFilm Crafting Adhesive is a unique heat activated crafting adhesive that provides no mess and superior sealing ideal for General Crafting, Scrapbooking, Rubber Stamping and much more!

Quote
Pre-Formed Solvent Free Glazing Strip designed to add strength and cleaner assembly process when assembling stained glass windows built with lead, non-lead, zinc or brass came.  NO Days Glaze is a superior process to traditional putty or cement glazing processes.  Available in black, pewter or clear.

They have other stuff too:

Thanks again, and I look forward to seeing reviews on most anything craft related. Smiley

Thanks for the suggestions HSG. Good glues are always awesome to know about. And it's so hard to know what really works well and what doesn't.

I have heard of chalkboard paint, but the dry-erase and magnetic paints from RustOleum are new to me.  I would love to find out how well they actually perform.

Wow.  I didn't know about the dry erase version.  I think I'll paint my entire house in it. Cheesy

I didn't know about the dry erase version either! I've wondered about all these paints. I bet there are so many cool and unexpected things that Craftsters could do with these paints.

The chalkboard and magnetic paints work beautifully, I don't know about the dry erase kind. We have the chalkboard paint in my house and I've seen the magnetic paint at Ikea. I wonder how strong the magnetic paint is though? It can keep the small alphabet magnets and the regular 'fridge magnets up but I'm not sure how well it would work wit anything bigger.
