my first creation was a purse, too.  I think it's a great way to get into sewing, learning about all of the right sides together, turning inside out, all of that.  Nice job... love the design.

Thanks so much guys! Right now I have been scouring the internet for free patterns. I want to get a little better before I buy anything that may be too complicated. While I really like this clutch I didn't use a magnetic snap or a zipper so it get's a little annoying to carry it around. I think I'm going to take out the lining and add a zipper, *shudders* I know I'm going to screw that up but I have a lot of this fabric.  Wink
