How about a swap all about dolls??!!  They can be made from yarn, fleece, felt, fabric, etc.  Which ever is your specialty.  I guess we will need a point system, since the larger dolls take more time.  And an outfit for the doll.

I love making dolls.  Cheesy  I might be interested, depending on timing.

Nothing wrong with the dolls made of wood, except that I don't sew, so they would be nekkid. Cheesy

Well, first of all, you need to be a member for at least a month and have made 15 posts.  You are well on your way on both counts.

Then there are swap guidelines that you need to follow.  For your first time, you can only do one swap.  Once you have feedback for that swap, then you can do up to five swaps.

The organizer will set up the rules for the swap.  Usually there is a theme to follow and a time period for signups.  Once the signups have closed, you will be assigned a partner.  Then you craft for your partner based on the theme.  You will either be given a point system, or a set size package to fulfill.  You send your package, your partner sends a package to you.  You post pictures and publicly thank your partner.  Then you get feedback.  It's a great experience most of the time.

You should probably browse the swap archive section to get some ideas from old swaps.

You could paint their clothes so they wouldn't look nekked.  (LOL)  Who wouldn;t love a wooden doll?  It would be so different.

Hey, I could do that!  Now I have to consider this swap.  I've really wanted to try to make a jointed doll, but never had the incentive to get going with it.

I wonder if anyone could make me a Pinokeeo doll out of cloth.....
