So, I found, at the thrift store, about 50 vintage iron transfers for embroidery and could not pass them up. I have very little history or skill with embroidery, but I was really excited about the patterns and such, so I decided to give one a try.
  I made this dress for my tiny beast with the rhino pattern (tigers are her favorite, but alas, there was no tiger).


The top is muslin, since it was the only solid colored fabric that I own (I am a magpie, I collect colors and patterns) and the bottom is from an old sheet.

I tried to color her in with crayons after I embroidered her, so she looks like she has wrinkly skin (a happy accident).

That is super cute and well done! I love the skirt fabric and the embroidery design is just adorable. What a great find. Smiley
