I just moved to Bel Air. I do a bit with crocheting and would like to learn a bit more. I also have a sewing machine that I don't even know how to thread but would love to learn how to. Any recommendations for classes or anyone in the area that would be interested in giving lessons? I appreciate any help I can get Smiley

oh! Another Harford Countyian.  Or something.  I've lived here two years Smiley

As far as local crafts, I haven't found much. JOanns has some classes, and there are a few at HCC.  I know there is a LYS in Bel Air, I would bet they have classed. The LSS closed in January Sad  And down here in my part of the county, there is a quilt store that has classes.

Aberdeen library has a monthly knitting group, Next one is April 28th at 6pm

What kind of sewing machine do you have? Smiley

Another partial Harford County-arian, I live in Perry Hall but work at the Toys R Us in Bel Air. The JoAnnes also has both sewing and knitting classes, as well as ewenique yarns as someone has already said.

I realize this thread has been dead for ages but if anyone in the area is into art journaling/mixed media/crafting in general I seriously need a crafting buddy.
