As some of you may know, the fab kittykill and I work for the Portland Women's Crisis Line in Portland, Oregon providing resources and peer support to survivors of domestic and sexual violence. Last year the Craftster community donated with great generosity to our annual auction and gala, and those items were a huge success at the auction!

The Portland Women's Crisis Line (PWCL) has a really young, fun and dare I say, hip crowd. Items like handstitched baby clothes/items, handmade clothing and jewelry, and other fun items are great. Unfortunately, we can't accept any fine art due to the fact that auction goers rarely pay what the art is worth.

The deadline for donations is July 1, 2009. We are a 501(c)(3) so donations are tax deductible and you would be provided with a tax receipt for your donation.

I can provide my shipping information if you are interested, and I'd be happy to answer any questions or provide you with more information through a PM on Craftster.

Visit our website to see the great work we do! www.pwcl.org. Thanks!

Yeah! Thanks for posting this. We had such a huge success last year and it would be awesome if more of you could help the cause.

I walked by this a couple of times last year but never stopped in to see what it was all about. I regret it, but here's my chance to fix it!
