I'm almost positive that I got here via a link in the Live Journal craftgrrl community. And have I mentioned lately how glad I am to be here?

I work in a library and my co worker who is a librarian was reading an article on librarian.net about book purses and it linked to craftser and she said "I thought you'd like this website I found today."

I picked up a bunch of neckties at a rummage sale and did a Google search for necktie skirt. The first link was a Sew Wrong posting asking for directions, and the second was to craftster--specifically ollyollyoxenfree's tutorial on necktie skirts.

I was amazed with the detail of the tutorial, the photos posted, etc. I read through the tutorial and realized I hadn't accumulated enough ties yet...but then had the thought, "Wonder what else is here..."

I haven't left since. Smiley

I found it as a link on another craft site... I think it may have been ohmystars.net. And craftster is definitely the best craft web site I've ever been on. I've looked at others that never even came close!

a link from www.j-walkblog.com. probably one of the only non-crafty links! honestly I loved crafts when I was little but never thought they could be "cool"... until I came here and got reinspired.

I found it when doing a search for how to alter t-shirts in a creative way - I was going to a concert the next night. And I'm addicted. I've become a happier and more crafty individual (and my boyfriend has something to make fun of me for, so everyone's happy). And they all lived happily ever after...THE END!  Smiley

It doesn't feel like exercise when you're wearing chiffon.
