Craftster has a mention in the Time magazine article on the 50 Coolest websites- unfortunately it wasn't one of the 50 (Not Martha was the Crafty winner) but good to see it mentioned!

http://www.time.com/time/business/article/0,8599,1222531,00.html#notmartha

I noticed that last night! AAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!! It would have been so cool to have won! Sad But at least we were mentioned! Grin Congrats to everyone here for making this happen!

That is freakin awesome!

I found Craftster from a link on ohmystars.net/craft, which I probably found through Googling.

There is NO way they'd mention Craftster on TRL or MTV for that matter. Canada is so cool. Cheesy

Just got my Interweave Crochet for fall, and Lo' what catches my eye? Dread Pirate Sam -- the selfsame crocheted pirate featured in craftsters 'This Rocks'! And craftster.org is indeed cited!

Look at page 8, article title "Hook into the WEB".

 Cheesy

So, I'm writing an article for my school paper on the internet revolution that is Craftster! Wink

I'll send it in when I'm finished, but I decided to ask: is there anything specific that you guys think I should include?

Thanks in advance! Smiley

(PS: My school is Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada, the newspaper is The Cord Weekly.... and here's the online version! http://www.cordweekly.com/)

The amount of members, the amount of members on each day (registered and unregistered), the average amount of posts per day, a description of some of the crafts done here, what different boards we have here.. etc..

I'm thinking there's a story about Leah, how she had to quit her job, etc., because craftster turned huge. If you include that...well, anything else is lagnaippe! (You could PM her for quotes, even!)

Can't wait to see the article! Good luck!
