My old computer fried last summer and I had to get a new one.  I was Googeling for some of knitting sites I like, when Crafster came up.

I just slipped a gratuitous craftster mention in over on Woman's Wall Street:

Look at the post "Consider this as an alternative to buying disposable products each month for your menstural cycl..."

I got my new issue of Budget Living the other day and was psyched to see our own Leah and some Craftster projects inside!

I will scan these later on unless someone beats me to it but here is more info:

Budget Living magazine
Feb/Mar 2005
Pgs 27, 64

Content: Blurb/photo of Leah (27), Crossword Puzzle Table project (64), Dangle Heart Earrings (64)

Yay for Craftster!!

OH MY GOSH!!  I just finished my latest Budget Living Magazine, there was a mention of this site, and did you know how long I spent looking for this exact site last week, even though I didn't even know it existed???  I did every crafts cutesy-wootsey crafts must die google I could think of, and never found it!  Yet here you are!!  I am 31, am going to school for a double major of art and teaching, am a computer geek, and love all non-cheesey crafting.  I think we could  be soul mates, ms. Leah Kramer,  I'm somewhat immature  mother of 4, but does that mean a life of geese w/bonnets, and little hearts?  I think not!!!  Unless the irony is there ofcourse.  My plan as the greatest mother, but worst subservient-type homemaker is to finish my kitchen with curtains from the reprodepot with the fifties, how to keep a happy husband material.  Talk about irony....   Grin
P.S. I just had to "modify" (add) here that I swear I didn't see the "ducks with bonnets" comment on the home page until after I posted this...wow did I find the right place or what...

Thank you, and I'm SO HAPPY I found you all!  And sorry if I overdid it with my fav. movie.

Thanks!!  Unfortunately I may flunk out of school now, as I keep spending too much time on this site now..., And also unfortunate.. the "Happy Husband" fabric doesn't seem to be there anymore, Durn it, I'll have the think about the 50's "home ec." fabric instead.  That oughta give me a good laugh every morning...

I think this may have been mentioned in the handbags folder but for anyone who missed it, Craftster was just featured in an article in Time Magazine!

The article was called "Pretty Crafty" and it was in a special edition of the March 7th, 2005 issue.  It's not in the newsstand edition and in fact it's only in special editions of the subscriber version.  But still very very cool that we made it into Time!!!

Here's a link to the online version of the article:
http://www.time.com/time/connections/article/0,9171,1032358,00.html

If you know someone who subscribes to Time, you should try to take a look at the printed version. It has pictures of a bunch of different Craftster's Jordy bags and a picture of me.
