Last month I finally entered the dreaded mid 20's. Seeing as how I have a huge affinity for anything gore related, I decided to have a gore themed birthday party. Now, finding special effects makeup at the beginning of Feb was no easy feat, but I found a few items and made a lasting impression at my own party.

A busted nose, bruised head, bruised lip and a slashed arm.

The shock and gasps when I entered the room were enough of a birthday present Smiley

Enjoy!

I love the makeup.  I used to volunteer for my local Citizen Corps group.  They train Community Emergency Response Teams, so in a disaster they can take care of their own neighborhoods and not have to rely on emergency responders they may take days or weeks to get there.  I was able to take training for that fancy pants gory makeup.  I've put rebar through peoples necks, done broken bones, burns and bruses galore.  I'll tell you there just aren't many people that can appreciate that type of talent.  I hope your party was a blast!

I'd love to do a personal swap for this knit Death Flake hat
