She's really cute. I particularly like the purple dress and the one that you've featured in the main post Smiley nice detail work on all her little accessories.

Stop being so damned positive. Staring at the sun only blinds some one. By only looking at the positive, you miss an entire beautiful world of shadows and colors. Don't be overly negative, be realistic. The world is so much more complex and beautiful that way.

Thank you thank you thank you to everyone who has commented! I've been feeling very uncreative and unmotivated lately and all these wonderful comments are exactly the kick in the butt I've needed to get going again!

Its actually a three piece outfit. The top was made using one of craftewomans patterns that I modified slightly(made it bigger). The skirt is just a big rectangle gathered at the top with a waistband and the bodice is a scrap of fabric that I fitted to her torso with darts and then lined. The bodice also laces up the back with little eyelet things. Grin

Please let us know if you will be selling Steampunk Poppets on your etsy account. She is just fabulous.
That would be against craftsters advertising rules. Plus the cost of making aa poppet and all the work involved would be pretty expensive. Tehy take quite a bit of machine and hand sewing and the assembly has to be totally done by hand. You'd be better off to ask for a swap from someone on the board who makes them or to join the next round of the poppet swap! We're a really great bunch!
