Growing up I had litteraly ever type of pet imaginable.  But one that I was most fond of was guinea pigs.  Besides my dogs, guinea pigs are by far one of the best pets ever.  So, I decided to make some.  These little guys will be going in easter baskets.  But alas, I still have to make about 5 more of these little guys for the rest of the easter baskets.

I had to look twice to make sure they were not real.
They are so cute, the brown one looks like our piggie Cinnamon.

They are life size.  Grin  They were actually really fast to make too.

Aww! A craft that combines two of my fave things: guinea pigs and crochet.

They look great! Is this your own pattern?

I got the guineapig pattern from planetjune.  However, I modified it alot.  I added some rows of sc's rows to make one piggie bigger to make it look like an adult, removed some sc's to make the other piggie smaller to be a baby piggie.  The legs I thought were too tiny so, I made them bigger.  and the ears, I used thicker yarn so I changed them as well.
