Swap name: Roaming Gnome
Craftster member who is organizing this swap: bsonlytoots
co-organizer: hollistercobabe
Sign-up date range:3/10-3/27
First send Out: Friday 4/3
Second: Friday 4/24
Third: Friday 5/15
Fourth: Friday 6/5

This swap is limited to 24 people
This swap is OPEN TO ALL COUNTRIES
This swap has an age requirement of 13, per Craftster rules.

Swap Organizer himself/herself meets these conditions:
- Has fully read the Swap Info Guide: YES
- Has successfully completed two swaps as a participant: YES
- Is not organizing more than three swaps right now: YES
- Will recruit a co-organizer or give all details to a Swap Moderator if this swap has more than 25 participants: YES

Swap Organizer will check each participant to make sure they meet these conditions:
- Has been a member for at least one month: YES
- Has posted at least 15 times: YES
- Has completed One swaps successfully before signing up for multiple swaps at a time: YES
- Is not currently signed up for more than five swaps: YES
- Does not have any negative feedback: YES
- Participant has agreed that he/she is at least 13 years old: YES

Details of swap:
We will be crafting up a gnome and sending him off to roam! You will have ONE week from close of sign ups to craft up a gnome, in whatever fashion you choose. When you send your gnome, you will also need to include a small photo album and THREE SMALL trinkets from your town with him. All participants will be put into groups of 4 people. Your roaming gnome will visit each person in your group. Here's how this will work: We will be sending in a chain ... you will ship to the same person each time, but will be shipping a different gnome! On the first send out date, you will pack up your gnome (make sure he's comfy!), his photo album, and 3 trinkets from your town. You will send this to your "send to" partner. When you receive each visiting gnome you will take him out on the town for a photo shoot! Print at least(more is welcome but not required) 2 pictures of him, write some details of where he is, and put them in his album. Take out ONE of the trinkets in his box and keep it for your gnome to remember where he has been when he gets home! Pack up the visiting gnome again (making sure he's comfy) with his album (complete with new pics) and the remaining trinkets, and send it to your "send to" partner. You will then receive another gnome, do the same thing, take him out for pictures, print at least 2 and put them in his album, keep ONE trinket for your gnome, pack up the visiting gnome (make sure he's comfy) w/album, pics, and remaining trinkets, and ship to your "ship to" partner again. We will be sending the gnomes to visit someone new every 3 weeks.

If we have enough international roamers, then I will set up a special group including them, and the shipping will go a bit differently, I will explain if needed in a PM with your partners.

Make sure the album has your username somewhere on it (inside, outside, back) so your partners can be aware of your allergies.
We don't want anyone allergic to pollen having their Gnome going for walks through flowers, etc.

When gnomes start arriving, I will open a gallery up, you may add pictures of your visiting gnome there BUT make sure these are not used as the album pics. So, if you post a pic of gnome on a cow, dont use that picture as one you place in the album. If you send more than 2 pics home with the visiting gnome, then you CAN add that cow pic in as an extra!

This will be a long swap so make sure you are really committed before signing up. Also since you will be sending 4 times it can get pricey for postage.

Silly question:  Does it have to be from my town, or from my area?  My actual town is pretty dull, but there's some pretty cool stuff in the general area.

From your area is fone, like if you live just outside of Atlanta, it would be TOTALLY fine for you to get trinkets from there, OR you can get state type stuff. Last round I got Florida magnets to send.
