i really love this quilt. I personally don't like pink, but think brown is a great color for anyone. And if you're into pink, it goes really well with brown.

i'm just the opposite. I'd rather handquilt than machine quilt. I'm so afraid of screwing up with the machine, and it's a lot easier for me to tear out hand stitching. It's really not all that hard to do once you get started. There's a great book that really explains it wellif you're interested in trying. "Quiltmaking by Hand" by Jinny Beyer. Shows you how to make an entire quilt by hand from piecing to quilting (or just quilting if you prefer).

I really like it!
Personally, I remember hating pink when I was a little girl.  But who could hate brown?  It's something that will go well with just about anything, no matter what your favorite color is.  So, I (obviously, hehe) think your color choice is great!
Plus, it's beautiful anyway!  It makes me want to go take a nap Smiley

So pretty!  You did a great job - and whoever did the quilting did a super job too - loving the design in the white areas - it just fits perfectly!
