(I'm not sure if this is the right forum for this, but I hope its okay)
As a late mothersday-present I made my mother a "pencilcase" for her knitting-equipment. Next weekend she is taking me to Copenhagen for a mother-daughterweekend som I thought I'd bring it then.
I made this out of scraps I had laying about. Her name is Nina, so I put that in the front
This is a picture of the inside.
The "stripy" part is really an elastic fabric, so that the sticks will stick
It is not the most beatiful thing the world ever did see, but she is a teacher so she is used to kids making her strange things
I know she does a lot of knitting in her breaks at work, so I think it will come in handy. The bright colours suits well for a woman working with little children.
The brown ribbon is used to tie it together when its rolled up, and I've "written" in Norwegien: To my mum, I love you.
What do you think?
